    It is a most horrendous story about simply awful people. However it is most compelling reading and I found it difficult to put the book down.

    Having read the two previous Strike/Robin novels and eagerly looking forward to this 3rd instalment,,, I was not disappointed at all. I felt like reading it all in a day or two but hung it out and enjoyed every page. Love the characters and the storyline. I so so hope that JK is busy penning a 4th book in this series and will, for sure, get my hands on it as soon as published. As for the ending... I liked it and it can be a great lead in to the next story.

    I've read all three of the books in this series, this is the one I enjoyed most. I hope "Robert Galbraith" writes a fourth soon!
  • Best Strike novel so far

    I read this book in about a week, which for me is exceptionally quick. Out of the 3 Cormoran Strike books so far this is my favourite. What I love is the fantastic way the author develops the relationship between Strike and Robin. Trailing a serial killer is the hook on which Rowling/Galbraith devoples the intra-personal relationship between the two main characters and made it a real page turner for me. Add to that, the 'hook' of trailing 3 potential suspects each with a very different back story is so enjoyable and there's a couple of very neat twists towards the end. In short it's a very clever and enjoyable read that explores human relationships but also is a great crime novel. Please hurry up book #4!!!
