Classmate Murders This book has been revised and re-edited as of August 2013. - Jim Richards, has to admit he has become a senior citizen, reluctantly. Richards, receives an email from a childhood sweetheart asking for help, but by the time he reaches her, she has been murdered. His life turns around and he is pulled into the murders of women from his high school who he hasn't seen in forty years. A killer is now stalking and killing his old female classmates (while they are under police protection) for unknown reasons and Jim, along with his only friend Buck, a big, mustachioed biker, are trying to stop the killer before he gets to one woman Jim is falling for and before the class of '67 has lost any more of it's female alumni.

    Ok, I did finish this book only because its simply written and easy to read. It's always difficult to criticise given that I couldn't do what these authors do. However, I do feel that this has an amateur feel about it. At first I thought great its a new angle using someone in their 60's but then it just went down hill from there for me. The conversations were dreadful, like a bad 70's b movie. The relationship that arose between 'sleuth' and prospective victim was too quick and over the top finger down throat. I did question something that happened early on the answer to which was bought into play in the only good part of the book and that was the end. I understand this is the first of these 'jim amateur detective' books but I won't be reading any more of them. Will not be reading any more of these book
